Asian Circuit Kicks Off:
The three-week, five-tournament Asian circuit on the ATP World Tour begins with two tournaments in China, including the first-year Chengdu Open and the third edition of the Shenzhen Open. This is the third year in a row that China will host tournaments across all three ATP World Tour tournament categories (250, 500, Masters 1000). The swing continues with a pair of 500 tournaments, the China Open in Beijing and Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships 2016 in Tokyo, before culminating with the eighth ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament of the season at the Shanghai Rolex Masters on 9 October.
