1. Atthaya Thitikul was born 20th February 2003 in Ratchaburi, Thailand.

2. She started playing the game when she only six-years-old.

3. Her nicknames are Jeen and Jeeno Jat.

4. Thitikul is a former world amateur number one.

5. In 2017, she won the European Thailand Ladies Championship. This win came just four months after her 14th birthday. In the process, she became the youngest winner of a professional golf tournament.

6. During that year she competed at the Junior Dutch Open, carding a course record round of 8-under-par to win the tournament by eight strokes.

7. Thitikul is sponsored by Hana Financial Group. The group already supports the likes of Patty Tavatanakit, Lydia Ko and Minjee Lee.

8. Before turning professional, Thitikul had 16 amateur victories. These included gold at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and leading amateur at the Women’s Open Championship in 2018 at Royal Lytham and 2019 at Woburn.

9. Turning professional in 2020, she already had two professional wins on the Ladies European Tour, both coming at the Ladies European Thailand Championship.

10. Thitikul is currently coached by Kris Assawapimonporn who is the head professional at ASA Golf Academy in Thailand.

11. Turning professional at the start of 2020, her career was put on hold due to Covid. However, since golf’s return, she has picked up her third LET victory at the Czech Ladies Open.
