Alfred Dunhill Championship Golf Betting Tips
The 2016 season may have only finished a fortnight ago, but the 2017 European Tour season is with us as the players take on the challenges of Leopard Creek Country Club and the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
There is unsurprisingly a huge amount of South Africans in the field, and the defending champ and four-time winner Charl Schwartzel is the short priced favourite at just 3/1. Branden Grace who won in 2014 is also well fancied at 6/1.
Hitting it long off the tee to attack the greens with short irons is the name of the game at Leopard Creek.

Alfred Dunhill Championship Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets
Richard Sterne 4 points each way at 22/1 – A former winner, in 2009, the South African has been playing really steadily over the past few months including being runner up at the Dunhill Links and Top 10 at the British Masters.
Zander Lombard 2 points each way at 50/1 – The young South African missed out on keeping his card by just a couple of places. However with four top 10 finishes last season, including some superb performances in his homeland, he is a danger this week.
Scott Jamieson 2 points each way at 66/1 Unlike Lombard, the Scot managed to just hold on to his card last season, buoyed by that success I am predicting a good performance from him at a course where has previously finished 3rd.
Haydn Porteous 1 point each way at 150/1 – The big hitting South African had a breakthrough season in 2016 with a win at the Joburg Open and other impressive performances at the Dubai Desert Classic and Open Championship. If he can keep his ball on the fairway from off the tee then this price is far too big.
