The smoke PVD finish creates an anti-glare, classy look too.
TaylorMade M6 Irons
GM Says: The new Speed Bridge technology connects the top-line with the back bar of the iron to increase rigidity, helping boost ball speed while also enhancing the sound and feel. These irons also feature an extremely low and deep CG via a Fluted Hosel and 360° undercut that relocate weight low in the head. An ultra-thin face with varying thicknesses delivers maximum ball speeds over a large area face and the off- centre positioning delivers a directional bias.
Callaway Rogue X Irons
GM Says: The Rogue X irons feature multiple technologies unique to Rogue. There are four sets in the range with the X boasting an oversized head with a longer blade, wider sole, slightly more offset, and a CG deeper that is further back from the face. This has been coupled with longer (and lighter) shafts as well as stronger lofts for added distance from lower spin and more ball speed.
Ping G700 Irons
GM Says: This is PING’s hollow body super-game-improvement iron designed to offer maximum distance and forgiveness for the mid-to-high handicapper. The have replaced the brand’s GMax irons and feature a hollow body construction, which increases face flexibility for a higher trajectory and more distance. This is assisted by a machined C300 maraging steel face, which has undergone a two-step heat treatment process to add strength, enabling the manufacturer to make it thinner and therefore even more flexible than the face on the GMax.

Mizuno JPX919 Hot Metal Irons
GM says: The Mizuno JPX 919 Hot Metal irons have a stability frame, which comprises an open heel section to provide more perimeter weighting elsewhere, while the second is a new Pearl Brush finish, said to reduce sun glare and enhance durability. When tested the clubs gave us incredible ball speed with a high flight which could be difficult to control in the wind.
Cleveland Launcher HB Irons
GM Says: The fully hollow Launcher HB irons feature hybrid like long irons for high levels of forgiveness and easy launching, and more iron-like short irons. They use a high-strength steel face with stabilising ribs to increase ball speed and a HiBore Crown to help golfers launch the ball higher and further than typical cavity back irons.
Wilson Staff D7 Irons
GM says: Replacing the D300, the 4-7 irons within the set now feature three rows of Power Holes on the sole to increase face deflection for more distance. Moving into the 8-9-iron, this reduces to two rows of Power Holes and then just one row in the PW and GW to enhance precision. This technology is now combined with Wilson’s thinnest ever face which helps create more ball speed through added flexion.
Cobra F-MAX Superlite
GM Says: 16 grams lighter than the previous version, the Cobra F-MAX Superlite irons are designed as such to help achieve the fastest club and ball speed possible for golfers with moderate swing speeds.
Progressive hosel lengths strategically position the CG (Centre of Gravity) in each iron to produce the desired launch and trajectory. Shorter hosels in the long irons lower the CG to promote higher launch and distance, while taller hosels in the short iron wedges raise the CG to promote lower, controlled trajectories.
Srixon Z 585 Irons
GM says: The Z585 irons have a new Speed Groove, an internal channel on the SUP10 face insert, allows for more face flexing, enhancing ball speed and distance. A wider Tour V.T. Sole with more trailing edge bounce provides smoother turf interaction and more consistent ball striking. These irons don’t look too different from the previous generation as Srixon have once again provided an iron with a classic profile that delivers on forgiveness too.
