Former world number one Dustin Johnson collected his second win of the new season at the WGC-Mexico Championship last weekend. Coming just a few weeks after victory in Saudi Arabia, Johnson shot a final-round 66 to win by five shots from fellow TaylorMade staffer Rory McIlroy.

Here we take a look at the TaylorMade equipment of  Dustin Johnson.

DJ has been a TaylorMade staffer for his entire 10 year career as a professional.

The 33-year-old started using the new TaylorMade M6 driver earlier this season but has since swapped that out for the adjustable M5 which again has the Speed Injected Twist Face technology – What is Twist Face?

According to TaylorMade, DJ has said he has made the switch to the M5 because it provides him with the ability to slide one of the Inverted T-Track weights toward the toe to help promote his fade.

One of the longest hitters on Tour, Johnson is currently averaging just over 300 yards off the tee however this is sure to go up after he plays more tournaments.

DJ has used M3 and M4 fairway woods in the past but has since put the new M5 model in the bag.

Moving to the irons DJ put a TaylorMade P790 3-iron in the bag for Mexico and then went from 4-iron to pitching wedge in the P730 DJ Proto irons.

These are fitted with True Temper X100 shafts – a shaft he has used in his irons ever since his junior days.

He has a Milled Grind 52° gap wedge then goes straight to a 60° lob wedge plus a Milled Grind Hi-Toe 64°.

A difficult club for DJ in recent times has been his putter – he has been using a different model almost every week for the past couple of months.

He has been using the TaylorMade Spider Tour Black for some time but has changed that for a silver TaylorMade Spider Mini and then went to a more blade-like Juno version.

At the 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions recently Johnson was pictured with a Soto putter that is part of the TP Black Copper Collection but with his wins in Saudi Arabia and Mexico he returned to his Spider Tour model.

His ball is the 2019 TaylorMade TP5x ball which he put into play at Kapalua.
