Winner of the Genesis Open, we take a look what JB Holmes put into his bag for his 5th PGA Tour win.
JB Holmes What’s In The Bag?
American JB Holmes battled all day on Sunday to collect his fifth PGA Tour title at the Genesis Open. Featuring a stellar field, Holmes out-lasted Justin Thomas, Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy and a whole host of stars by shooting a final-round 70 to win by one-stroke.
What clubs did he use to do so? We take a look below.
Holmes has recently put the new Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero driver in the bag. Featuring their new innovative Flash Face technology, the new models have caused quite a stir thanks to their design by a computer and Artificial Intelligence. To learn more on how the technology works click here.
Holmes then carries a 2016 TaylorMade M2 and Srixon Z U85 utility 3-iron.
In terms of his irons and wedges, Holmes has the same models as another winner from last weekend, Ryan Fox. Both have Srixon’s Z 785 irons from 4-iron to pitching wedge and then also Cleveland’s RTX-4 wedges.
Indeed despite Holmes being renowned for his length off the tee, it was his putting that put him over the top at Riviera. Before the tournament started he ranked 202nd in Strokes Gained putting on the PGA Tour but he found a hot-streak with his Scotty Cameron prototype to win.
He also uses a Srixon Z-Star XV ball.
