Jhonattan Vegas secured his second straight RBC Canadian Open title with a playoff victory over Charley Hoffman, here is the equipment he used.

Vegas used this year’s Taylormade M2 Driver at Glen Abbey, where he recorded one of the longest drives of the tournament at 388 yards.

The Venezuelan also secured his second Canadian Open title by using the Mizuno MP-4 muscleback irons.

He had previously been using the MP-18 prototype blades since the Houston Shell Open in March.

However, one week prior to his title defence, he made the switch back to the MP-4s.

He secured a strong Green in Regulation average of 75%, all of his previous five tournaments in which he has missed the cut were below this average.

Speaking after his final round, Vegas said to CBS’ Dottie Pepper that he “made a little bit of a change with my Mizuno irons.”

It was the MP-4 eight iron which helped Vegas produce that incredible bunker shot, ultimately leading to his championship-winning putt on the final play-off hole.

Interestingly Vegas still has some of his old Nike gear in the bag, in the shape of his two Vapor Speed fairway woods.

Vegas sank plenty of crucial putts last week with the Scotty Cameron GSS Prototype, whilst the golf ball he was using was the Titleist ProV1.
