Justin Rose What’s In The Bag?
Currently the world number one, Justin Rose started his 2019 in perfect fashion winning the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines by two strokes. After swapping the honour of being the worlds top golfer several times with Brooks Koepka, this win has seen the Englishman firmly entrench himself at the top.
In was his 10th win on the PGA Tour and what makes his win even more impressive, is that he has been playing a vastly different set of clubs than normal after he signed a 10-club partnership with Honma Golf to play its forged irons and wedges.
Interestingly he has also put a driver made by the Japanese brand in the bag too. Having used the TaylorMade M3 440 driver in 2018, Rose has switched to Honma’s TWorld 747 460 driver as you can see from the picture below.
last week.Additionally he has also been using an M6 3 wood as well as a Honma utility iron instead of his usual TaylorMade M3 5-wood.
He has been made a prototype split set of forged Honma TWorld irons, which you can see below.

Moving into the wedges, he used Honma TWorld Rose Proto’s and a Titleist Vokey SM7 lob wedge. His lofts are 52°, 56° and 60°.
Rose is also a Lamkin ambassador and he has recently had R.E.L ACE golf grips put on his irons and wedges.
Finally the world number one had been using the TaylorMade TP Red Collection Ardmore 2 putter but Rose instead has gone back to the Axis1 putter which he used to great effect in California. His putter was on red-hot form throughout the week as he produced rounds of 63-66-69-69.
His putter is fitted with a Lamkin Flat Cat grip.
His current ball is the TaylorMade TP5.
