American Mitchell birdied the last to win his first PGA Tour title this weekend. We take a look in his bag.

With American stars Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler at the top of the leaderboard, Keith Mitchell surprised many on Sunday at the Honda Classic out-duelling them all to collect his first ever PGA Tour title.

The American’s previous best finish was a second place at the 2018 Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, but he showed incredible nerve to birdie the last at PGA National to win by one-stroke.

Here we take a look at what he puts into his bag.

Mitchell has the new Mizuno ST190 driver in the bag which is the first ever PGA Tour win for the model. At the moment he averages 295 yards with the big-stick which comfortably puts him into the top-100 for driving distance on the PGA Tour.

Mitchell’s driving was the base for his aggressive play – averaging an impressive 314 yards and hitting 71.43% of the fairways.

He then carries two Titleist fairway woods, an older 917F2 three-wood with 16.5 degrees of loft and a new TS2 model at 21 degrees. In the past he has also put a Mizuno MP-18 SC 3-iron in the bag but took it out this week in favour of the TS2.

From 4-iron to pitching wedge Mitchell carries Mizuno MP-18s and then carries three Titleist Vokey wedges. Two of which are SM7’s and the other is a Prototype 60V.

Finally Mitchell had a new putter in the bag for the win, a TaylorMade Spider X. With the win we can safely assume it will stay in the bag in the foreseeable future.
