Arguably the best driver Mizuno have ever made, the Mizuno ST190G is a clear attempt to rectify the common belief that the brand has struggled to make any meaningful impact in the driver market. We believe that attempt has succeeded and as a result makes it into our Editors Choice List.
Adjustable Redesign
The ST190G sees a completely new design in terms of adjustability. Overall it has been simplified from the GT180, and yet their are still countless options available to you depending on what you are looking for from your driver. Whether you need help drawing or fading the ball, or you need to increase or decrease your spin, the ST190G with its twin 7g movable weights can help with that. We were able to tinker with them to create our ideal spin off the face and despite having a lower peak height than the previous GT180, we still managed to get 290 yards of carry. We recommend working with your PGA pro so that you can eke out a few more yards whilst keeping a watchful eye on your dispersion.
All-Around Package
Featuring a stronger, ultra-fast forged face made from Forged SP700 Ti, the driver delivers consistently higher ball speeds, helped by a weight-saving carbon composite crown and an Amplified Wave soleplate that expands the high COR region.

It feels and sounds a lot more solid and powerful than previous models and also has a slightly higher pitch than other drivers on the market. The design offers a distinctive modern look to a driver that still has managed to maintain its simple and traditional shape. The carbon-fibre pleating is visible on top and the all-black visual looks fantastic despite being slightly tricky to align.
If you are a golfer looking to optimize your launch conditions via moveable weight adjustability, you would be hard-pressed to find a better model than the Mizuno ST190G. That combined with its all-around performance means it was a worthy inclusion in our Editors Choice List.
