Tyrrell Hatton Signs With Ping

Ping has announced the signing of 2016 Alfred Dunhill Links Champion and world number 24 Tyrrell Hatton on a multi-year deal.

The 25-year-old has had his best season to date, where he’s finished T5th at The Open, a tie for 10th at the USPGA and a runner-up finish at the DP World Tour Championship.

 

Jordan Spieth Wins Second Australian Open

The Texan had 21 birdies and an eagle over the four rounds

Jordan Spieth won the Emirates Australian Open at Royal Sydney by beating Cameron Smith and Ashley Hall in a playoff after the trio were tied at 12-under-par.

Spieth, who won the event in 2014, picked up his first victory since May, when he won the Dean & Deluca, by birdieing the first playoff hole. The 23-year-old now has 11 wins worldwide.

 

Charley Hull Wins First LPGA Tour Event

Hull moves up to 18th in the world

England’s Charley Hull won the LPGA Tour’s season-ending CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

The 20-year-old beat Korea’s Ryu So-yeon by two shots and won $500,000. The victory adds to her LET title in 2014 and caps a special year where she finished T7th, two shots off a medal.
