The toughest week on tour is back, and the world’s best have all travelled to Erin Hills Golf Club in Wisconsin, check out who we think can survive with these US Open Golf Betting Tips
US Open Golf Betting Tips – Updated
It is time for the second Major of the season with the US Open being played this year at Erin Hills in Wisconsin.
Brian Harman leads the event by one shot, but our pick Justin Thomas is lurking!
Last season the event was won by Dustin Johnson who controversially won his first Major of his career and start his road to becoming World Number One, but he has had a poor start to this year’s event shooting a 76 in the first round.

US Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets – Post Round Three
Justin Thomas you beauty, our pick from before the tournament shot a US Open record round of 63 to be right in contention just a shot back, Brandt Snedeker and Hideki Matsuyama are also right in the hunt.
You can still get some good odds from some book makers for the final round and even each way bets, so consider these
Patrick Reed 3 points each way at 22/1 with Bet On Brazil – The American shot an excellent round of 65 yesterday, and I am pretty annoyed at myself for not highlighting him post cut. These are still good odds as he is very much still in with a chance of winning.
Russell Henley 3 points each way at 33/1 with Bet On Brazil – Also four shots back, the same as Reed, he knows how to win on the PGA Tour and seems to be improving with every round this week.
Bill Haas 1 point each way at 80/1 with Bet On Brazil – If you are looking for a longer shot then look no further, has won the Tour Championship under the greatest of pressure and is just 5 shots back.
US Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets – Post Cut
Well what a difference a day makes, Hideki Matsuyama’s superb 65 put him right into contention, and we have five of our picks still in contention.
You can still get good each way odds for players from most bookmakers – so don’t miss out on these guys.
Martin Kaymer 3 points each way at 26/1 with Bet On Brazil – The German will be disappointed to have had a bogey on the final hole, but he played superb golf and is in with a great shout just four shots back… he is of course a former US Open champion and has also won a Major in Wisconsin.
Jordan Spieth 2 points each way at 50/1 with Bet On Brazil – The 2015 US Open champion will have come off the course disappointed with his performance on Friday, but for once it was just the putter that didn’t fire. He is just seven shots off the lead, and I would never ignore him at these odds on a US Open course.
Steve Stricker 1 point each way at 500/1 with Bet On Brazil – As I have already mentioned the entire field is covered by just eight shots. Steve Stricker is a local, had an interest in designing the course, he is the fans’ favourite and at these odds I am not going to pass.
US Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets – Post Round 1
It wasn’t the best of starts for our pre-tournament picks, but of course very early days. I do want to highlight a few golfers who had a good first round and are well set and at good odds.
Adam Scott 3 points each way at 33/1 with Bet On Brazil – There were times yesterday that it looked like the Aussie may be blown off the course, but he recovered from being 4 over at one point to getting back to level par with a chip-in eagle on the last. Of everyone in the field he will be feeling the most positive about his game going into a earlier tee time today.
Matthew Fitzpatrick 2 points each way at 50/1 with Bet On Brazil – The Englishman shot an excellent 2-under-par round of 70 and is five shots back. Tee to green he is always very consistent, and he should avoid the main hazard of the long rough to the sides of each fairway. He also has an earlier tee time today and conditions should be easier at that time.
Brandt Snedeker 2 points each way at 66/1 with Bet On Brazil – The American is a solid performer on the PGA Tour, and I like him at these odds. He will have a trickier late tee time, but his long game and super solid putting stroke means he is a man who could deal with the conditions.
US Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets – Pre Tournament
Hideki Matsuyama 4 points each way at 16/1 with Bet On Brazil – At the start of the season you would not have been able to get him at these odds. Having won five events in as many months he was favourite to win all the Majors, his form has dropped a tad, but he is still playing very solid golf and is 4th in the World Rankings for a reason.
Justin Thomas 3 points each way at 33/1 with Bet On Brazil – The American is very much feast or famine, with two wins and four top 10s in 11 events – but also three missed cuts. His driving and ball striking has been superb this season and I really like him at these odds.
Thomas Pieters 2 points each way at 40/1 with Bet On Brazil – The Belgian is a really dangerous player in any event. Has been top 10 three times this season and importantly in the big events, the Masters and a WGC. he has finished top 5. If you are looking for a good ball striker look no further!
Alexander Noren 2 points each way at 50/1 with Bet On Brazil – He won the BMW PGA Championship a couple of weeks back, is now in the World’s top 10 and yet he still doesn’t get the respect he should. Take advantage! These odds are far too long, In the last year he has won five times and looked a class above at times, get him in!
Kevin Kisner 2 points each way at 70/1 with Bet On Brazil – The American has squeezed into the world’s top 20 now thanks to five top 10s including a win at the DEAN & DELUCA Invitational. Has been one of the form players this season and has to be considered at this price.
Lucas Glover 1 point each way at 125/1 with Bet On Brazil – The American is my big outside tip – he won the US Open of course in 2009 and has been in quite good form this year with a couple of top 10s. He is one of the best drivers of a golf ball on tour and struggles with the putter, but has the possibility to have a good week.
Please do bet responsibly and the best of luck!
