Golfers are being invited to tee it up alongside the likes of David Seaman, Glenn Hoddle and Ian Wright in this year’s Willow Ryder Cup Arsenal V Spurs charity golf day, which is taking place at East Herts Golf Club on Monday, September 23.
Captained by the captained by Bob Wilson and Martin Chivers, teams of legends from the two North London sides teams will tee off for the 20th anniversary of The Willow Ryder Cup Arsenal V Spurs Challenge in aid of Hertfordshire-based charity Willow, the charity set up by Wilson which offers special days out for seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40.
Golfers will compete alongside their footballing heroes in four-balls, with spaces still available to tee it up with the likes Alan Smith, Glenn Hoddle, Bobby Gould, Graham Roberts, David Seaman, Micky Hazard, Frank McLintock, Ossie Ardiles, George Graham, Ray Clemence, Ian Wright and Sir Trevor Brooking.
The Willow Ryder Cup Arsenal V Spurs has raised more than £85,000 towards Willow’s Special Days since it began in 2008.
Bob Wilson said: “What a fantastic opportunity to see football legends from the top North London clubs together in one place. Together with all the golfers on the day, we’ll be supporting seriously ill young adults – helping Willow to make a positive difference to their lives at a time when they need it most.”
