Callaway has published a new video that provides behind-the-scenes footage of the process that world No.2 Jon Rahm went through in the fitting of his new Paradym driver.
Rahm, who finished No.1 in the PGA Tour driving statistics in the 2022 season and remains in that position in 2023, wasted little time in finding success with his new Paradym Woods.
In his first competitive start of 2023 with his Paradym Triple Diamond Driver and Fairway Woods in the bag, Rahm shot a 10-under par final round to land his 8th PGA Tour title. This marked the first of two victories for Callaway and the new Paradym Woods, with Si Woo Kim claiming the Sony Open the following week.
The behind-the-scenes footage shows the three-phase process Rahm goes through, working alongside Callaway Performance Rep Kellen Watson, before adding new clubs to his bag.
Phase One: Rahm lays his eyes on the Paradym Prototype Driver for the first time at his home course, Silverleaf Country Club in Arizona. This session is more about initial look and feel.
Phase Two: This is where Rahm finds his gamer driver and fine-tunes his specs at the Ely Performance Centre in Carlsbad.
Phase Three: The final phase of Rahm’s Paradym custom fit ends at Kapalua, where he puts his new clubs through a final test on the driving range before the tournament begins.
