Addressing one of the key issues with electric trolleys – the difficulty of reading the screen in direct sunlight – Golfstream’s aptly named Vision trolley comes with a revolutionary new display screen, which works along the same lines as a Kindle screen, so that it can be read even in the brightest sunshine.
The main screen can be personalised with a golfer’s details, whilst there is a ‘simplicity’ mode, accessed through a button on the handle, those who just want to get on with their game with the minimum of features.
Added to this innovation is a simple one-click open and close mechanism which folds the trolley down to a compact size, while a magnetic latch holds the trolley together in the folded position to make it easier to carry. High-grip slick tyres provide a cushioned ride, while the 200v motor will transport clubs with ease across all terrains. It comes with an 18-hole lithium CaddyCell LifePO4 battery, which sits in a platform that is designed to accommodate all other popular brands of batteries.
A non-clogging front wheel housing, combined with detachable main wheels, ensures that cleaning is a simple task, while a button on the handle enables the trolley to be programmed for left and right-handed use and provides access to a distance control function, with speed increments of 0.5mph.
It comes with a two-year guarantee, and is available in five different colour options.
RRP: £449, www.golfstream.co.uk
