The 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits, Wisconsin, is to remain in its original date of September 25-27, which means the first day’s matches will be held just five days after the conclusion of the rescheduled US Open.
The women’s professional game has also shuffled its major schedule, with the LPGA Tour moving the ANA Inspiration to the week beginning September 7 at Mission Hills Country Club in California, and the US Women’s Open moving to the week of December 7 at Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas. The AIG Women’s British Open is currently staying in its scheduled slot at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland from August 20-23.
