Ping launches new women’s equipment range

Ping has unveiled its latest women’s golf club range, the G Le2, which features advancements in technology, lighter overall club weight, expanded fitting options, and premium materials.

The complete line of clubs is available at authorised Ping golf shops from July 18 and for pre-order around the world beginning today (July 1).

The G Le2 driver (£389), fairway woods (3, 5, 7 and 9, £240), and hybrids (4, 5, 6 and 7, £179) are all lighter than the clubs they replace, but with higher MOI for more forgiveness, as well as more heel weighting to help encourage a draw.

The irons (6-9, PW, UW and SW, £126 each) are also lighter and more forgiving, and feature Cor-Eye technology for faster ball speeds, and higher launch. The set is rounded out with three adjustable-shafted putters (Anser, Shea £200, Echo £260).

Ping’s proprietary ULT240 Lite and Ultra Lite premium graphite shafts are standard throughout the G Le2 range and help bring down overall club weight, while helping generate more clubhead speed and a higher launch. The super-soft Golf Pride Tour Velvet Garnet 360 grip is available in three sizes.
