The line-up for the British Masters supported by Sky Sports Pro-Am reads like a ‘who’s who’ of sporting legends, with cricketing greats Sir Ian Botham and Shane Warne among those already confirmed.
The tournament curtain-raiser, which is being held on Wednesday October 7, promises to be as entertaining as the event itself, with a host of stars from the worlds of cricket, football, motor racing, horse racing and show business tackling the Marquess’ Course at Woburn Golf Club in the company of some of the finest golfers in the world.
A number of Sky Sports’ popular presenters and analysts are taking part, including former footballers Jamie Redknapp, Matt Le Tissier and Graeme Souness, who will take to the course alongside Damon Hill, the 1996 Formula 1 world champion, and Sky Sports presenter Ed Chamberlin. Horse-racing fans will be excited to see the great AP McCoy, one of the most successful jockeys in history, in the flesh, while Kevin Pietersen (pictured) will be swapping his cricket bat for golf clubs, joining former England cricketers Alan Lamb and Nasser Hussain.
Discounted advance tickets are now on general sale for the final three rounds. Any one day tickets, which can be used from Friday October 9 to Sunday October 11, cost £25 (£15 concession) before October 4. The full gate price is £30.
