PGA of America to allow players to use distance measuring devices for its Major championships

The PGA of America is to allow players the use distance-measuring devices during competition rounds at its three annual Major Championships – the PGA Championship, the Women’s PGA Championship and the Senior PGA Championship. Such devices, including laser rangefinders and GPS units, have previously been only allowed for practice rounds, but never for competitive rounds. Stricker to captain 2020 US Ryder Cup team

Ryder Cup veteran Steve Stricker has been chosen by the PGA of America to captain the US Ryder Cup team for the 43rd Ryder Cup, which will be played at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin in 2020.
