English clothing brand Wolsey has announced the signing of talented first-season professional Toby Tree to represent the brand on the PGA European Tour.
Tree, who turned professional in September last year, has signed a multi-year agreement with Wolsey to wear its Sportsman collection.
“Toby is an exciting talent and fits well with our vision for the future of Wolsey. He is a great addition to the team of pioneers we are building and he champions the brand’s spirit of adventure,” continued Louis Wolcott.
Winner of the Welsh Amateur Championship in 2014, 20-year-old Tree enjoyed a stellar amateur career that included third place in the European Team Championship, victory as part of the England team against France last year, and England U16 champion in 2010. He has been a regular fixture in the England team, representing his country at the European Cup of Nations, international matches and team championships.
“Signing with Wolsey in my first season as a professional is a massive confidence boost for me, and I am excited about representing them on Tour,” said Tree, who is attached to Golf At Goodwood in West Sussex. “The clothes look great and perform really well on the course.”
Toby is joining a team of inspiring Wolsey Pioneers that includes Robert Rock, Eddie Pepperell and fellow new signing Paul Waring, all of whom will wear apparel from the new spring/summer 2015 Sportsman collection on tour season, which is available now from wolsey.com, trendygolf.com and at selected pro shops across the UK.
