In 2009 the Finnish Weightlifting Federation is celabrating its 75th anniversary. The Baltic Cup competition will serve as our Gala Competition with competitors from countries around the Baltic Sea such as Olympic Bronze Medalist from Beijing 2008, World and European Champion Viktor Scerbatihs (Latvia) and European Silver Medalist from Bucharest 2009 Ruth Kasirye (Norway). Also a Gala Dinner will be held in jubilation of the event with musical performances. The link to Baltic Cup competition is
