Iran made poor results in the World Championship held in South Korea last month. Moreover, some Iranian lifters were found accountable for doping in previous tournaments.
In the technical committee held in Iran’s Weightlifting Federation the officials decided to cancel participation in the tournaments due to the existing turmoil in Iran’s weightlifting society.
