AARON RAMSEY has shot down claims he is Euro 2016’s Angel of Death.
However, it will not stop the pumped-up Wales midfielder aiming a kiss of death at England’s qualification hopes in Lens today.
Urban myth has it that someone famous dies whenever Ramsey scores.
But the Arsenal ace broke his silence on the morbid association and told SunSport: “It’s just some crazy, stupid rumour.
“Unfortunately, people pass away every day.”
The last celebrity allegedly struck down by ‘The Ramsey Curse’ was America’s former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
Ramsey last scored on March 5, firing in Arsenal’s opener during a 2-2 North London derby draw with Spurs.
Less than 24 hours later the 94-year-old former actress and wife of President Ronald Reagan died of congestive heart failure.
It followed an unwelcome double in January.

Ramsey revealed the sick claims used to upset him but got so farcical it stopped bothering him.
He said: “I don’t know how or why it started but it’s been following me about for some time. But it doesn’t bother me now. People pass away every day — there isn’t a day when they don’t!
“I’m sure if you dig about you could find somebody has died every time Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi score, so it’s ridiculous really. It seemed to snowball after the Bin Laden death.
“But now a 94-year-old woman dies in America and, through social media, it is somehow linked with me! It’s just become so ludicrous it’s no longer an issue.”
Ramsey, 25, knows he could drive a stake through England hearts with a winner today, while seeing the Dragons through to the last 16.
He added: “We want to put our proud stamp on the tournament. Beating England would show what a good team we’ve become. There is no fear going into this one.
“Every team has weaknesses.”
