Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson have to be next-door neighbours while Jurgen Klopp needs a smoking room

A BIZARRE list of whacky requests has been leaked that details what Liverpool request from hotels.

A document entitled “LIVERPOOL FC – Domestic Hotel Requirements Season 2016-17” was obtained by the Daily Star hours before the Reds’ 2-0 pre-season win over Huddersfield Town earlier this week.

Among the 22 points, it stipulates each hotel must put England midfielders Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana up in bedrooms next to each other wherever they are staying.

Midfield maestro Philippe Coutinho must also have a fan in his room to keep him cool – understandable after this week’s heatwave.

The list also states every players’ room must be non-smoking rooms with a minibar stocking only juice and water – with no alcohol or snacks allowed.

That is in stark contrast to manager Jurgen Klopp and his assistant Peter Krawietz who have to have a smoking room away from the players.

And rather cheekily, while the players get normal hotel rooms, the club makes a special request for Klopp and his other assistant, Zeljko Buvac to be given a complimentary upgrade to a suite.

The club demands all outgoing and incoming phone calls from all of the rooms are blocked and all players must have double beds for “sole use”.

Liverpool have just landed in the USA where they will be based in Silicon Valley, California, and are scheduled to play Chelsea and AC Milan in the International Champions Cup on July 27 and July 30.
