ANDY CARROLL was busy relaxing in the Far East as England’s Euro 2016 squad jetted to France on Monday morning.
The West Ham United striker, 27, had heard calls from some fans to be included in Roy Hodgson’s final 23 – but the big striker didn’t even make the preliminary squad as Manchester United teenage sensation Marcus Rashford was picked.
But Carroll, who scored nine goals last season, appeared to be enjoying himself as he relaxed at the Four Seasons in Koh Samui, Thailaind, with reality TV fiancee Billi Mucklow and their year-old son Arlo.
Carroll had finished the season brilliantly with six goals and two assists in his final 10 games – including a brilliant hat-trick against Arsenal – but his form wasn’t enough to covince Hodgson.
The former Liverpool and Newcastle United striker has nine caps for England and was picked by Hodgson for Euro 2012 but hasn’t appeared for his country since then.
In a series of pictures posted by former The Only Way Is Essex star Billi on her Instagram account, the pair are seen sipping on cocktails and relaxing by a swimming pool.
Carroll’s future at West Ham appears to be in some doubt with the Hammers continually linked with a move for a top striker as they prepare to move to the Olympic Stadium.
AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca was said to be in London over the weekend to negotiate with the Hammers over a £23million move.
