Anthony Joshua ‘desperate’ for Tyson Fury fight – but Eddie Hearn predicts all-British bout won’t happen for at least THREE years

ANTHONY JOSHUA is “desperate” to fight Tyson Fury – but might have to wait until 2020 to take him on, according to Eddie Hearn.

The promoter claims Fury is in “terrible physical shape” and believes the clash won’t be able to take place for another three years.

However, an all-British battle does at least look to be on the cards following the pair’s recent feud on Twitter.

Hearn told TalkSport: “For sure, Klitschko, Fury, Parker, Wilder… they’re the fights we need.”

Joshua is now the No1 heavyweight in world boxing following Saturday’s thrilling win over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley stadium, and has a number of options available regarding his next opponent.

But Fury admits he’s keen to get in the ring with AJ despite being without a boxing licence after battling with mental health issues.

He tweeted: “@EddieHearn whenever you want that weightlifting punk spanked let me know. I’m not 41 [years old].”

However, the tone was a bit darker before Joshua's famous win, with Fury referring to his British rival as a “b***h” and a “little p*******e.”

But Joshua responded in kind, even offering Fury TWO seats to the Klitschko fight for his “fat ass.”
