The dangerous American, who has held the WBC belt since 2015, posted a video in which he says to IBF, WBA and IBO champ Joshua: “Call us, girl.”

And it appears Joshua is relishing the challenge following a Facetime chat with 50 Cent.

With the pair laughing and joking, Joshua chimes in: "I told him we're gonna f*** up Deontay Wilder! We're coming soon!"

Fighters have been queuing up for a chance to inflict a first defeat on reigning WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight champ Joshua since he knocked out Wladimir Klitschko.

His record currently stands at 19 wins without defeat whilst Wilder is 38 wins, no defeats with 37 knockouts.

Before the two giants meet in the ring, AJ is set to face two mandatory challengers in Kubrat Pulev and Luis Ortiz.

But World Boxing Council president Mauricio Sulaiman is determined to make the fight happen in the future.

He told Sky Sports: "We will do whatever is possible and necessary to make it happen.

"That's the fight everybody wants to see. Joshua is a tremendous attraction and a positive role model, and Wilder is the same.

"Two undefeated champions should meet in the ring as soon as possible. Both have commitments to finish, so next year is the time to meet."
