ARSENAL have been a dealt a double transfer blow by top midfield targets Julian Draxler and Arda Turan.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly chasing the duo after losing out to Leicester in a bizarre title race last season.

The Frenchman has already spent £30million on Borussia Monchengladbach’s Granit Xhaka and came extremely close to signing Foxes star Jamie Vardy as he currently chases a new striker in the form of coveted Napoli hitman Gonzalo Higuain.
But Wenger is also eyeing reinforcements in midfield, with the likes of Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere hit with long-term injuries in the previous campaign.
It’s claimed Arsenal have already launched a £43m bid for Wolfsburg ace Draxler, who has also been linked with Manchester United.
His club previously hinted they could be forced to sell due to financial problems, but the Gunners will now have to look elsewhere after sporting director Klaus Allofs ruled out a transfer for Draxler.

He said: “With Draxler it will 100 per cent be like that. He will stay at Wolfsburg. There is no discussion.
“It is not the time for any vow, but we will not sell Julian. Our plans are clear.”
And Arsenal could also be forced to give up on Barcelona ace Turan, despite reports claiming Luis Enrique is looking to move him on for around £23m.

Chelsea and Juventus are also said to be interested, even though Turan himself is desperate to stay at the Nou Camp.
And the Turkey international’s agent has now confirmed his client won’t be leaving the Catalan giants this summer, contrary to rumours.
Ahmet Bulut explained: “It is normal that there is interest in him, but those saying that Barcelona are willing to sell are false. Arda Turan is happy at Barcelona.”
