Arsenal fan burns Alexandre Lacazette jersey after French forward’s horror miss in North London derby loss to Tottenham

ONE furious Arsenal fan has taken the drastic measure of BURNING his Alexandre Lacazette jersey following Saturday’s North London derby loss.

Harry Kane scored in the second half of a game dominated by Tottenham to inflict a demoralising, damaging defeat on Arsene Wenger and Co.

While Henrikh Mkhitaryan copped plenty of flak for his shocking performance, it was Lacazette who riled up the Gunners faithful late in the game, after coming off the bench.

The French forward, 26, missed two chances – one an absolute sitter – in the dying seconds as Arsenal left empty-handed.

They were the sort of chances Lacazette promised he would bury on his arrival in England.

But instead he squandered the chances as the Gunners slipped further away from the Champions League places.

While many Gunners fans thanked their lucky stars the ex-Lyon star is no longer their No1 option, since the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who was also anonymous on Saturday – one Gooner went one step further.

Taking to Snapchat, the angry fan used newspapers in a desperate attempt to set fire to the “Lacazette 9” shirt.

IT’S IN THE BAGG Could Chelsea boss Antonio Conte be the sixth manager in nine years to be beaten by the “West Brom curse”?

Complete with the fashion faux pas socks and sandals look, the Arsenal supporter showed off the images of the top covered in ashes as he has clearly lost patience with the Frenchman.

It was no cheap stunt either… with Lacazette jerseys costing anywhere between £71 and £116, according to the club website.

The France ace will next have the chance to find his shooting boots in the Europa League last-32 clash away to Ostersunds on Thursday.

Incredibly, the Gunners don’t play again in the Premier League until March 1, when they take on league-leaders Manchester City.

Ahead of that game, they will play the second leg of their European clash, as well as the Carabao Cup final – again against City – at Wembley, looking to erase the memory of Saturday’s defeat.
