ARSENAL have been ridiculed by fans after a bizarre press release promoting their new kit declared: “We are the ones riding our motorbikes with Petr Cech’s helmet.”

The Gunners proudly unveiled their home strip for the 2017-18 season, accompanied by a ten-line boast about the club’s traditions.

However, rather than reacting with swollen pride, fans mocked the release and its interesting choice of words.

Arsenal had said: “We are THE legendary white sleeves.

“We are THE ones who always pick the cannon when we are playing Monopoly.

“We are THE ones who know the real ‘Dennis the menace’. He’s not a cartoon, he’s a genius.
