ARSENAL could land long-time target Nabil Fekir in the summer, according to reports in France.
Last summer the Gunners raided Lyon for £50million France star Alexandre Lacazette.
And L’Equipe claims Fekir has a contract clause letting him make a similarly big-money move this coming window.
The agreement between the attacking midfielder and the Ligue 1 side was struck when Fekir signed his most recent contract until 2020.
Even if Lyon qualify for the Champions’ League, Fekir has been told that Les Gones will not stand in his way of making a life-changing move.
The 24-year-old has scored an impressive 17 goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances so far this campaign, by far the most successful return of his professional career.
The France star has also laid on seven assists in the league and provided one more in the Europa League.
Emirates spies checked on him once again on April 20, when he scored in Lyon’s 5-2 win at league rivals Dijon.

Earlier in the season, the player’s agent Jean-Pierre Bernes said: “If at the end of the season, and this is not the case today, there was a decision to be made, then we would sit down with President Aulas and we would find the right solution.
“Nabil is in a big French club if not the biggest.
“You know very well that at some point, we may be able to ask questions about a departure.”
