DAVID OSPINA is a transfer target for Boca Juniors – and the Arsenal keeper said he would relish a move to the Argentine giants.
Ospina, 29, made his 21st appearance of the season in Sunday’s 1-0 win at Huddersfield.
The Colombia international helped the Gunners reach the Europa League semi-finals, but played just five Premier League games as Petr Cech’s understudy.
Buenos Aires outfit Boca have now set their sights on Ospina amid concerns over the form of their No1 Agustin Rossi.
Arsenal chiefs are uncertain about both Cech and Ospina’s long-term Emirates futures in the wake of Arsene Wenger’s departure as manager.
And Ospina told Antena: “There has always been talk about me joining Boca Juniors.
“People have spoken about this possibility ever since the time I was still in Colombia.
“I am enjoying life at Arsenal for the time being.
‘IT WAS SPECIAL’ Aubameyang insists he learned a lot from Wenger
“But Boca are one of the biggest clubs, not only in South America but in the world.
“And you always keep the door open to the possibility of joining a club like that.”
