ARSENAL are in the clear to sign Julian Draxler after Bayern Munich dropped out of the running.

But Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti insists he will not be moving for Draxler in January despite their surprising struggles in the Bundesliga this season.
Ancelotti confirmed: “Draxler is a very interesting player, full top. He can play in any team.
“[But] our team is complete. We won’t do anything in winter – there’s no market for us.”

Draxler has come under fire from Wolfsburg fans for his public protestations, with some even booing him when he came on as a sub in the 3-2 defeat to Hertha Berlin earlier this month.
The 23-year-old responded: “I don’t think I need to tell anybody what (being booed) does to a person. It certainly doesn’t help you.
“There’s no doubt it makes it hard for you to perform on the field. I can understand the fans though.
“They have every right to do that. I said in the summer the way I feel and I stand by that.”
