ARSENAL manager Arsene Wenger is ODDS-ON to be sacked after the humiliating 3-0 Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City.

The Frenchman has come under intense criticism from fans and pundits after the Gunners put in a gutless performance at Wembley on Sunday.

Ladbrokes have slashed their odds of the 68-year-old being axed before the start of next season to just 5/6.

The bookmakers’ spokesperson Alex Apati said: “It won’t be long before the Wenger Out banners are back on display at the Emirates.

“And the latest odds suggest the board may finally take action.”

The North London club are just 18/1 to finish in the top four, while they are now 5/1 to win the Europa League.

The ex-Monaco manager is currently tied down at the Emirates until the summer of 2019, but there have been widespread calls for him to leave his post imminently.

Arsenal have now lost back-to-back games in all competitions after they were humbled at home against Swedish minnows Ostersunds in the Europa League Round of 32 second leg last Thursday.
