Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid: Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos set to return from injury as Antoine Griezmann also declared fit
REAL MADRID stars looked like a side unbeaten at the top of La Liga as they were snapped laughing and joking in the final training session before their fierce derby clash against Atletico.
Zinedine Zidane’s side, who are six points clear of their rivals, looked in relaxed mood as the Frenchman welcomes back key players from injury.
Striker Karim Benzema and defender Sergio Ramos are both expected to be fit having recently been sidelined with injuries but tough tackling midfielder Casemeiro will miss out.
Alvaro Morata is also on the treatment table after picking up a hamstring injury playing for Spain over the weekend.
However the gaffer may need to think of a way to combat Atletico's Antoine Griezmann who has been declared fit to feature against the Champions League winners.
The forward, who has six league goals, was a major doubt after picking up a knock on his foot for France but has shown no signs of discomfort in training throughout the week.
And Zidane has welcomed the news that the 25-year-old is available.
