STAN WAWRINKA couldn’t help but lose his temper when he incredibly snapped his racket off his knee during his semi-final defeat to Roger Federer.
The world number four lost his cool after his Swiss counterpart broke his serve in the second set of the Australian Open.
Wawrinka was already one set down and with signs that the first Grand Slam of the year was slipping away from him, a back-hand into the net proved the catalyst to his fury.

Wawrinka slammed his racket on the ground before finishing off the job by snapping it in half on his knee.
The Swiss ace lost the first two sets 7-5, 6-3 but bounced back in dramatic fashion to win the next two and take it into a nail-biting fifth set decider.
Federer, now ranked number 17 in the world, used all his experience to see his way through to yet another final as he incredibly aims to win his 18th Grand Slam title and his fifth in the Australian Open.
