BARCELONA legend, Carles Puyol, has dropped a massive hint he may be set for a return to football.
The three-time Champions League winner retired from the game in 2014 after a glittering career.
Puyol won La Liga six times with Barca — and was European and World champions with Spain.
And, at the age 38, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning to the game.
Speaking in a Twitter Q&A with fans, he said: “I don’t rule out playing again but right now just friendlies.”
Puyol started a football agency company with former team-mate, Ivan de la Pena, after he quit the game.
And he represents current Barca star, Marc Bartra, and Manchester City target, Almeyric Laporte.
The Catalan giants’ season appears to be falling apart — and Puyol’s famous leadership would have come in handy.
Luis Enrique’s men were on course won win the Treble for a second season running.
However, their lead at the top of La Liga has been cut to just three points after three games without a win — and two successive defeats.
And, last night, the holders were eliminated from the Champions League after losing 2-0 at Atletico Madrid.
