Bayern Munich star Mats Hummels’ wife Cathy gets covered in vomit while shooting at Oktoberfest


MATS HUMMELS’ wife had a less than enjoyable time at this year’s Oktoberfest in Munich.

While on the shooting range at the beer festival yesterday, Cathy Hummels noticed a nasty substance drop on her shoulder from the rollercoaster above.

“I believe someone puked,” she said.

However the German model and TV presenter kept her calm throughout, only briefly stopping to clean herself off.

Fortunately the rest of of the Bayern Munich squad and manager Carlo Ancelotti had a better time.

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival, attracting over 6 million visitors every year.

And this year it seemed to capture the imagination of Bayern’s players a little too much.

Following a midweek 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid, the German champions were held to a 1-1 draw at home to 1. FC Koln on Saturday.

However they still extended their lead over Borussia Dortmund to four points after Thomas Tuchel’s side lost 2-0 at Bayer Leverkusen.

Hertha Berlin are now Bayern’s closest challengers, as the club from the capital moved to within 3 points of the champions with a 2-0 win against Hamburg at the Olympiastadion.

Bayern Munich return to action after the international break with a trip to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday 15th October.
