Bellator 200: Kate Jackson fights ugly to beat Russian stunner Anastasia Yankova

KATE JACKSON won ugly against Russian beauty Anastasia Yankova at Bellator 200.

The Brit stunned her Instagram-famous opponent with a unanimous points decision win.

Judges scored the fight 30-26 30-26 29-27 in favour of Jackson after a smothering, scrappy performance at Wembley.

Former UFC ace Jackson, who took her record to 10-3, almost choked her opponent out in the first round.

Yankova wriggled free but was once again caught in the Brit’s clutches as she continued to grapple with her on the ground.

Jackson, who began her career in the UFC, showed her experience and wore the Moscow-born fighter down going into the second round.

But it was Jackson, beaten by Valerie Letourneau in her last bout, who seemed to be tiring and Yankova landed some crushing blows to her face.

Jackson’s scrappy, suffocating approach saw her enter the final round ahead on points.

And she knew it, too, as she instantly got back to work locking up Yankova against the cage.

Model Yankova had it all to do but managed to wriggle out of Jackson’s grasp and work her face again, delivering devastating elbows until the bell rang.

But it was too little too late, with the judges scoring in the Brit’s favour.
