BOLTON are heading for another financial meltdown after a deal to raise much-needed cash stalled.
Staff are now fearing for their jobs at the Macron stadium only a year after the club was hit with a winding up order from the tax man over unpaid debts.

The Mail claim owners Ken Anderson and Dean Holdsworth had been in talks to inject some money into the club but they have now broken down.
This latest crisis comes amid a fine start to the season, with Phil Parkinson’s League One title-chasers currently second and one of the favourites for promotion back to the Championship.

Off the field, however, it is reported that the former Premier League club are struggling to sustain a sky-high wage bill.
The likes of Jay Spearing, Darren Pratley and long-term casualty Mark Davies are still on “significant wages” and a source close to the club is reported to have said “they are in real trouble.”

And the problems do not appear to stop there. Owners Holdsworth and Anderson fell out just weeks after securing a deal to buy the club last year.
SunSport revealed a mystery Saudi group were looking to take the club off their hands and the pair had hoped to patch up their differences in order to ensure a smooth transition.
But that deal does not appear to have moved any closer to completion and the Trotters still have unpaid bills, including payments to agents.
And they may now need to sell their star players in the January transfer window to raise the funds and ease their worries in the short-term.
