BORUSSIA DORTMUND have trolled US president Donald Trump with a hilarious Twitter post about their own wall.

The cult German club are loved by most for their cheap ticket prices, popular former managers and trendy image – not to mention being very good at football.

They are also renowned for the incredible support at their Westfalenstadion home, including the famous “yellow wall” – a huge 25,000 capacity terrace where hardcore fans jump in unison.

It is one of the best sights in football – and now the club fourth in the Bundesliga table have made themselves even more popular with an epic take down of President Donald Trump.

After less than a week in power, he has already signed an executive order for an “impassable physical barrier” and has insisted Mexico will reimburse the US for it.

In a recent interview, the President claimed construction would start “within months” and Mexico would pay “100%” of the costs back, which experts say could be £20billion.

It is contentious and widely unpopular outside of the southern states of America – and Dortmund tweeted their disdain for Trump’s plan with a hilarious Twitter post.

Together with a pic of their yellow wall in all its glory, the caption read: “The only #wall we believe in,” together with a yellow heart emoji.

It did not mention Trump by name, but everyone knew what they were driving at - football clubs tend to stay out of politics, but on this occasion, we doff our caps...
