FRANK WARREN launched a scathing rant on his beloved Arsenal as he claims the club are spineless after losing to Manchester City.
The legendary boxing promoter was highly critical of the Gunners, after the Citizens inflicted a crushing 3-0 defeat over Arsene Wenger’s side in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.
Goals from Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva ensured Wenger would be a losing League Cup finalist for the third time.
Though totally outclassed by the Citizens, the shocking performance from the North London club infuriated the Hall of Fame promoter.
The 65-year-old told talkSPORT: “For me and all the fans; enough is enough. It’s just very poor, they are a spineless team who are tactically naive.
“No one wanted the ball, we didn’t have a shot on goal [sic] – it was just awful.
“It was awful, as it was on Thursday night [against Ostersund], as it was against Spurs in the second half – just an awful team who are not going anywhere.
“They are going nowhere!”

While Warren also stressed the need for a leader, claiming the FA Cup holders do have a real captain in the squad.
He added: “I think Arsenal’s team is totally inept at the moment; I don’t think they have any guidance.

“There is not a solid captain; where is a Frank McLintock?! Where is a Patrick Vieira?! Where is a Tony Adams?!”
In wake of the defeat, Arsenal’s all-time top scorer Thierry Henry has declared it would be a dream to manage the club.
And it wasn’t just Warren to slam the club, with SunSport columnist Alan Shearer declaring the side defended like an under-10 team.
Gary Neville branded Wenger’s men as “disgraceful,” while former fan favourite Paul Merson claimed Arsenal are the worst team in England without the ball.
Wenger will be looking for revenge when City come to the Emirates on Thursday, but another loss would intensify the pressure surrounding the former Monaco manager.
