SIMON GRAYSON is being considered for the Scunthorpe job.
The Bradford boss is out of contract at the end of the season at Valley Parade and has attracted interest at Glanford Park.
Scunthorpe are in the League One promotion shake-up but are looking towards next season as Nick Daws is interim boss following Graham Alexander’s departure.
And Grayson is high on their list of candidates after his promotion experience with Leeds with Huddersfield.
Earlier this year, Grayson revealed he would one day love to return to Leeds.
During his time as a manager, he led the club to the Championship in 2010.
Grayson, who took charge of Leeds in 2008, was dismissed by then-owner Ken Bates in 2012 with the club just three points off the play-off places.
Speaking about his dismissal, Grayson said: “When I was at Leeds we were only three points off the play-offs and that was more of a falling out between one or two people there.

“I think that [my time at Leeds] and the Huddersfield situation were complete shocks considering where we were in the table, and the remit of surviving in the division.
“But you move on and never doubt your ability and keep doing the same things you’ve been doing, and enjoy what you are doing.”
