Bisping claimed the UFC middleweight title in dramatic fashion in June when he stepped off a movie set on just two weeks’ notice and knocked out the heavily-favoured champion Luke Rockhold in just three and a half minutes at UFC 199 in Los Angeles.

And in Manchester two weeks ago Bisping became a reigning, defending champion when he outpointed MMA legend Dan Henderson after five thrilling rounds at the Manchester Arena at UFC 204.

Bisping’s UFC successes have come late in his career, with the Brit’s two successful world title fights coming in the 36th and 37th bouts of his rollercoaster MMA career.

And in this Instagram post he lays out the fruits of his labour, showing off some of the belts he’s accumulated through his career.

The pic shows the FX3 light-heavyweight belt he won back in his seventh professional bout, the Cage Warriors light-heavyweight title he won, then defended three times before receiving his call-up to appear on the third season of the UFC’s reality show The Ultimate Fighter.

And the two UFC belts represent his two championship bout victories at the very top of the sport, as he defeated Rockhold and Henderson to cement his position as the UFC’s undisputed middleweight championship of the world.
