WE’RE at that point in the year where we seem to be getting a blockbuster game every week.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is the latest AAA title to hit the shelves, and we’ve got all the details you need.
Last year’s Black Ops 3 edition is getting a bit old now, so let’s head into space for what’s going to be a helluva ride.
The Sun has searched across the net for the lowdown on when, where, and how to get your hands on CoD IF.
WHEN IS CALL OF DUTY IF RELEASED?
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is released TONIGHT – well technically tomorrow.
At midnight going from 3 November into the 4 you can start playing the latest instalment of the hit FPS franchise.
If you’ve brought your copy of the game through the PlayStation or Microsoft store, it will automatically let you play at 12am.
The game is being launched as a worldwide release, so all UK will get it at the same time as everyone else. Good times.
WHAT TIME CAN I PLAY IT?
You’ll be able to play at midnight TONIGHT, as mentioned.
We hope you’ve managed to get Friday off or are planning a sickie, because it’s going to be a long night of action.
If you were in the beta, you’ve already played the game so you know what to expect, but for the rest of us, it’s exciting times.
WHERE CAN I BUY IT?
Pretty much all the regular stores are selling CoD IF.
The British retailer Game are planning a midnight launch in a lot of their outlets, so give your local one a call to find out if they are one of those participating.
More in gaming
Tesco, Asda and other supermarket chains are also stocking Call of Duty, some of which are open 24 hours, but again, give them a buzz.
Or you can pick it up online at Amazon, Zavii, ShopTo, Argos, Smyths, and the PlayStation and Microsoft stores.
HOW MUCH WILL COD IF COST?
This all depends where you buy it up from, and what edition you are purchasing.
You can pick the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition up from Tesco for a very reasonable £64 on Xbox One and PS4.
Or you can just purchase the standalone game for PS4, Xbox One or PC for around £46.99 at the same shop.
Happy hunting!
