Carlos Tevez to Chelsea: Argentine reveals Blues want the ex-Manchester City star to make a sensational Premier League return

CARLOS TEVEZ has revealed Chelsea want him to make a sensational Prem return.

New Blues chief Antonio Conte was his boss at Juventus when they won Serie A in 2014.

Napoli also fancy the ex-Manchester City striker — now back home in Argentina — to replace Juve-bound Gonzalo Higuain.

But Tevez, 32, said: “It is true Chelsea and Napoli want me, but my desire is to stay with Boca until I retire. I am going to stay at Boca even if Napoli and Chelsea come knocking.”

West Ham gave up on luring him back to London when Tevez demanded £250,000-a-week.

Chelsea are, however, set to beat Juve and Everton to £37m Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, 25.

Koulibaly’s agent, Bruno Satin, said: “We discussed a contract renewal however, the desire of the player is to leave, not renew. We are told by the club he is a great player but from the renewal on offer, we don’t see this. To the fans I say stay calm because he won’t be joining Juventus.”

Chelsea and Liverpool are set to face each other in an HALF-EMPTY stadium here in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The all Premier League clash has not quite captured the imagination of the Los Angeles public as much as the pre-season tournament organisers would have hoped.

Both clubs were hoped to sell out the 100,000 capacity Rose Bowl in Pasadena for the International Champions Cup clash.

But a source told SunSport: “We’ve only managed to flog 50,000 tickets.

“Chelsea are massive over here – Liverpool not so much so. But we still were hoping to get close to capacity.”

The cheapest tickets are priced at 40 dollars – around £30 – a pop.

Chelsea face Real Madrid in Detroit on Saturday before ending their tour against AC Milan next Wednesday in Minnesota.

Event organiser Charlie Stilitano has managed to get all the world’s top clubs to take part in four tournaments being played across four continents and is hoping to persuade the four winners to face off against each other in Miami at the END of the season.

He said: “It would be great to get everyone to Miami to decide a world champion.”

Chelsea already played in a stadium that was only a third full last Wednesday when they beat Austrian side Wolfsberger 3-0 in front of just 10,000 fans in Klagenfurt.
