READING have taken unprecedented steps to ensure their Madejski Stadium turf remains pitch-ure perfect – by installing a revolutionary SISGrass hybrid system.
Jaap Staam has got the Royals playing some lovely stuff since taking charge of the club in the summer of 2016.
The former Manchester United star almost guided the Berkshire side to the Premier League last season before suffering defeat in the Championship play-off final to Huddersfield.

Reading have become the first UK sports club with a dual-use pitch to help ensure the turf ensures almost 250 hours of playing time.
The Mad Stad is not only home to football, but the venue has also hosted Aviva Premiership Rugby side London Irish for the last 16 years.
Plus with the youth sides of the Royals also using the ground, the pitch is assured to get a good work-out each season.
But global pitch specialists SIS Pitches introduced their advanced turf technology at the Madejski during the summer as part of a full reconstruction.

And the reinforced natural turf system features patented fibre injection technology – plus Reading also have the added bonus of having SISGrass Universal at their disposal.
The compact machine, combining speed, mobility and laser precision, specialises in repairing high-use areas such as touchlines, goalmouths and penalty spots.
The ground-breaking hybrid pitch system has been installed at a number of prestigious venues across the globe, including the Luzhniki Stadium, which will host the World Cup 2018 final in Moscow, Russia.
And at least Stam and his players will now know, no matter what, the grass is always greener on home soil.
