CHELSEA’S 2018-19 home kit has been leaked online… with red and white stripes a surprise addition.
According to Footy Headlines, the new jersey for next season sees a real twist on the predominantly blue shirt.
Tapered dashes of red and white are set to feature on the strip in a real change to the norm.
The lines run across the width of the shirt, as the streaks of red and white run horizontally from the edges towards the centre, including into the heart of the club crest.
The Nike jersey will be based on the next generation of the “Vapor template”.
It is said to be light then ever, including brand-new knit pattern on the front, back and the sleeves.
The shorts are expected to be blues, while the socks on the 2018-19 strip will be white, with a blue trim.
Chelsea are expected to launch their new kit in May 2018, meaning it could be released before the end of the current season, as many teams tend to do these days.
PREM’S NO1 City, Spurs, Chelsea, United all make it into the top five most valuable squads in Europe
The last game of the 2017-18 season will be played on May 13.
This season’s kit is almost 100 per cent blue, with just a hint of red and, thanks to the Yokohoma Tyres sponsorship and Nike swoosh.
