Chelsea and Real Madrid target Robert Lewandowski secretly meets with super-agent Pini Zahavi for dinner as he mulls future

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI secretly met with super-agent Pini Zahavi for dinner as he plots his Bayern Munich exit, SunSport can exclusively reveal.

The Poland star, 29, has made it clear to Bayern he wants to leave with both Chelsea and Real Madrid ready to snap him up.

The Bundesliga champions are reluctant to sell their top scorer, who has three years left on his contract.

But in pictures exclusively obtained by SunSport, Lewandowski appears to be considering his future by meeting agent Zahavi at the swanky Izakaya Asian Kitchen in Munich.

Lewandowski began his exit strategy by splitting with Cezary Kucharski – his adviser of ten years – and hiring Zahavi as his representative in February.

The Israeli agent, 74, has close ties to Chelsea and is thought to be behind Neymar’s £198million Paris Saint-Germain transfer from Barcelona.

He said at the time: “I am glad that Robert decided to co-operate with me.

“I will do everything to work well in his name.

“He is a great footballer. He is the best striker in the world. Therefore, it is not surprising that I have signals about the interest of his person in all major clubs.

“Will Robert go to Real Madrid? We’ll see. Now it’s time for me to do my job.”

Former Borussia Dortmund forward Lewandowski finished the season on 29 goals and became the first non-German to top the charts on three separate occasions.

Real are in need of more firepower up front with Karim Benzema scoring just five La Liga goals all season.

Los Blancos are resigned to the fact Tottenham will not sell Harry Kane this summer and are looking for options elsewhere.

Lewandowski fits the bill as an established world-class frontman who can lead the line in Madrid.

And Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata has struggled so much in his first season that Olivier Giroud was bought in January to bolster the Blues’ attack.

Lewandowski joined Bayern from rivals Dortmund in 2014 on a free transfer.

Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is adamant the club’s star striker is going nowhere.

He said: “Nobody needs to worry about Robert Lewandowski and his relationship with Bayern Munich. We have a very good one.

“We know what we have in Robert Lewandowski.

“I’m very happy that we still have such a long-term contract.

“No one needs to think about it. He will play for Bayern Munich next season, too.

“He’s one of the best centre-forwards in the world. The numbers prove it every year.

“If he doesn’t score a goal in a few games now and then, that’s not a problem.”
