Chelsea given clear route to sign Bayern Munich ace Robert Lewandowski after agent ‘rules out Real Madrid move’

CHELSEA are in pole position to sign Robert Lewandowski after his agent told Real Madrid he will not be moving to Spain.

The 29-year-old has banged in 40 goals in 47 games this season, but is still being linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena.

SunSport exclusively revealed photos of Lewandowski meeting with super-agent Pini Zahavi as they mulled over a decision to join the Blues or Real.

And according to Marca, Chelsea have now been given a clear route to nab the Polish striker after Zahavi made it clear to Los Blancos a deal would not be reached.

Lewandowski is understood to be keen on leaving the Bundesliga champions in the summer after four successful seasons in Bavaria.

While they also claim the Israeli agent was in Madrid to lay the foundations for a possible move for Neymar to join Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.

The Spanish international has struggled for form this season, and could be shipped off after just one season in England.

While his manager Antonio Conte could also follow him out the Stamford Bridge door, with the Italian admitting he could be sacked even if he wins the FA Cup.
